What are your rates?
Fees vary based on the service provided and/or package offering.
For Lactation Consulting, please see my booking site for fees.
For Doula Support and Photography, please contact for current rates and package options.
What should I bring to my Lactation Appointment?
I suggest bringing any tools and props that you currently use to feed your baby at home; this may include bottles/nipples, nipple shields, breast pump, breastfeeding pillows, expressed breastmilk, or infant formula.
Do you direct bill insurance?
Direct billing is not available. Instead, you will be issued a receipt which you may submit to your insurance company under Lactation Consulting services (or flexible spending accounts benefits) for reimbursement. If you do not have private healthcare coverage, Lactation Consulting appointments are available to be claimed as medical expenses on your income tax.
In the instance that my services are not covered, ask me for a letter to provide your insurer- all families deserve access to this care and I want to help advocate for you and for future families in these circumstances.
How many appointments will I need?
This is not an easy question to answer, as everyone’s unique circumstances will be different. Some only require one appointment to address their main concerns, but most will benefit from one to two follow up appointments. There is no obligation to follow up. Any clinical recommendations and advice are individualized.
May I bring someone with me to my appointment?
Absolutely! Partners and support people of your choosing are welcome to accompany you.
How should I prepare my home for your visit?
Please do absolutely nothing! Leave the dishes in the sink and do not fret about clutter or mess.
Pets: I do not mind cats or dogs, and enjoy meeting your friendly furry family members. If your animals are known to be exhuberant or potentially aggressive, please ensure they are contained safely for the duration of our appointment.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Absolutely! Consider requesting funds for doula or lactation support as part of your baby registry, or treat a family member or friend to the practical support that really need postpartum. Gift certificates may be purchased online here.
